To me, DEVO are the be- all and the end- all. No other group comes close to DEVO musically, artistically, or conceptually. Hearing the first DEVO album peeled my brain wide open when I was 14 years old and I never recovered. Nor will I ever.

Imagine my delight when I got the opportunity to play with David Kendrick, DEVO's drummer from 1987- 1996 and again in 2004. He also drummed for SPARKS during their new wave heyday of 1981- 1986. He allowed me to record the one and only rehearsal for our performance at 2017's "Devotional" DEVO fan gathering.

"Spin The Wheel" was taped live in one take. Later I put some vocals on the track and reinforced the guitars. David's drumming needed no work at all. That's how good the man is. I recommend that you check out some of his many other projects, such as EMPIRE OF FUN and his spoken word double CD. Great stuff.
