about

Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

lyrics

Me and my sister and the other mermaids were by the shore and we were singing. We didn't know if anyone was listening but we didn't care because, you know, we were just singing. We were always singing!

Well anyway, my mom took a picture of us and when it was developed she took it home and put it in a frame
This frame had all kinds of seashells and stuff all over it and sometimes I'd find myself staring at the frame and think I saw some jellyfish on it, too. But I'm glad there weren't any jellyfish on it because jellyfish are kind of scary, don't you think?

Anyway, this was the happiest day of my mom's life and that’s why she likes to show the picture to people if they come over. Well, now it’s my turn and I made a copy of the picture and I want to show you the picture.

Sometimes I think about my senior picture. I mean, I don’t have a senior picture because I was on the land and I couldn’t deal with it so they took me out of high school and instead they put me in heo drool school. But sometimes I picture myself staring into nowhere with this big smile on my face and I’m wearing a mortarboard and it looks totally queer and that’s why I’m glad I don’t have a senior picture
But maybe if I had one I’d show it to you.

I was looking in the mirror which is funny because I don’t like to do that. Not since I landed and I was in the air and everything was so different for me. But anyway, sometimes I have to do that and then I have to take a picture of myself looking into the mirror.
Sometimes I take a lot of pictures of myself but I don’t like to do it, you know? I mean, I don’t like looking at them but I like taking the pictures.
And well, now I'm thinking that since I took them all, now I have to show you the pictures.

I’ll share with the outside when I become a recluse
I’ll share with the watcher who suffers from the muse
I’ll share with the world to the tune of 20 views
I’ll share as much of me as I want to share with you
I’ll never share enough for you
